Currently I am producing organic results on my Face Book page and not doing an paid search advertising on Face Book or other sponsored ads. Of course that can change at anytime, but the amount of traffic from my Fan Page is gaining ground. I found out something recently that actually hurt my organic placement of my Fan Page and learned a valuable lesson, so hopes of gaining that front page listing again for my Fan Page are back in the works. As far as the paid advertising why pay when you can do it organically is my mado.

Thanks for the comment. When it comes down to it having a big list of fans is vital. Bigger is indeed better to get your brand in front of people on Facebook, along with all the other elements that make a difference like engagement.

THanks Nick for the comment. I haven’t had any personal experience with “buying” fans or likes. Maybe someone else has a comment to make, an experience or insight on this!

Thanks for your comment Jamie. Dell invest a lot on training for social media and treat it as very important.

Excellent Inforgraphic Jeff. It still amazes me that 1 out of 3 Display Ads is on Facebook. The resistance to businesses investing in Facebook (paid or earned) as evidenced by the 39% (seems way low) amazes me too. Lots of noise about how shopping YoY is down on Facebook, but if you are Internet marketer looking for where to get some of the 7-20 impressions needed to convert, then its hard to look past Facebook. Thanks for sharing.
