Great points on social media marketing! As an owner of small business I think that some part of work in SMM should be outsourced. You can make a smaller investment to building your marketing plan until your growth provides the cash flow needed to hire more permanent staffing. Also, you often need the expertise of more knowledgeable professionals providing strategic growth plans and your budget doesn’t not allow for that level of investment for the long term. I was working with Ignite http://ignitecloudware.com It seems to be reliable and competent company.

Hey Jeff, you made some valid points here about leveraging social media. This reminds me of the book the tipping point with the introduction into the post and the last point about the influencers. I don’t know if you read it, but the tipping point by Malcolm Gladwell talks about how trends are started and there 3 main characters you need in your circle in order for what you’re marketing to explode… These are the connector, salesperson, and the maven… the influencer which you mentioned is considered the connector since many people are already connected to them because of the like and trust factor. By the fact the influencer promotes your content and what you’re marketing, you’re bounce to get an increase in traffic and sales! Thanks for sharing!
