  2. Great advice and this post is definitely fav’d for future reference.

Even something as simple as introducting your readers to some great content can be content in itself, so take a stroll down your Stumbles and looks for threads or take a look at your tags page and explore for ideas from there.

  3. As always Jeff, great content, and content is King. I’m inspired by the clarity of the above. The two critical additional elements of value for me are time (of which we all have little to spare) and a simple step-by-step plan of engagement with this rapidly evolving medium. I love it.

You clearly put a lot of time into your online work, and the quality shines through.

I find I can commit about 30 mins most mornings first thing, and a little extra on weekends, and with that I seem to be able to stay one step ahead of what I want to achieve. The step-by-step bit sounds a bit corny I know, but it is to make the most of that time. It’s a constant learning process.

    All the best.

  5. Content is king, they say, and how true! Good writing skills and an ample supply of creativity are more necessary than ever in the online medium.

It is important that companies of all sizes assume the cost in time and resources that generating quality content entails. And it is fundamental that we online pros are realistic and truthful about the amount of time that businesses should dedicate to keeping up an online presence that is fresh and compelling for the target audience.

  7. Love this idea: “Turn Powerpoint Presentations into Articles and Blog Posts”

Even better, break down the presentation into a 3-5 day tutorial for your blog.

Good solid information. Thank you for the reminders and the new ideas!

  9. I struggle all the time with content. I spend a great deal of time on my blogs, 3-4 hours each. Therefore, I need to be energized and inspired to make a post. Result is, I am not as prolific a blogger as I would like to be.
But, I only want interesting, useful blogs on my site.
I am going to use some of your ideas to create content in the future.
    Thanks for sharing.
