Another great post Jeff! It brought an immediate smile to my face as I remembered only a few weeks ago, a friend that is new to FB, saw a few status updates of another friends kid. She politely made a comment that she felt her father would not be proud of the language she was using. One of the girls friends asked “who is that, telling you what to do?”, girl said “some old woman my dad knows”. LOL!

Ahhhh…..to be young again. NOT! :D

Very funny Jeff! I really do tread lightly around my children’s FaceBook pages and yet I often find a way to (unintentionally) embarrass them! I think thats the nature of being a teen- parents are embarrassing by just being parents.

This made me smile. The amount if times I want to post “so you can work on your farm but not do your homework” just isn’t funny LOL

Enjoyed this post, Jeff. My cousin’s grandkids actually bugged her until she signed up for fb! I embarrass my kids when I talk about how I have embarrassed them — so I won’t! ;-) Grandkids are not old enough yet.

LOL, very funny. This almost makes me wanna have kids just so I can fill the parental obligation of annoying and embarrassing them.

My teenage son started taking pictures of me when I was gardening and posting them to facebook with comments like “OMG! what a huge backside!” and tagging me in it, then he started hijacking my own facebook posts.  I got a bit fed up of it so I sought revenge and returned the favour.  I dug out a couple of his baby photos and posted them and tagged him.  It soon stopped.  Now he leaves me alone.

I have to say that it works a treat for those unruly teens that think they know beter.  Every now and then he will jump in front of the camera and pull a silly face – everyone knows where the pictures go now :)
