I agree with all your points Jeff! I have found that if your content is interesting, insightful, compelling, relevant AND you do not sell but rather provide value-adding information that can enable the recipient to solve problems (or look good in the boardroom) your subscriber base will continue to grow and the requests for more information, mettings, etc. will come in. Thank you for a great article!

Thanks for letting me share my knowledge on your blog Jeff. Your readers seem great as well..

David Graham hit the nail on the head. If you don’t have time to read the full post, just read David Graham’s comment. It encompasses the basic message of the article.

Good tips Jeff. The part that I would have every blogger, or webmaster write and put on their fridge is quality, over quantity.

#3 reasons people are not going to share crappy content, you will not build backlinks on autopilot, and your blog will not go viral if your content is not up to par.

Always focus your message on the needs of your ideal profile of client
or customer and never be afraid of alienating those who have zero intention of
using your services. They may make the numbers look good, but they are of
no value to your business. In fact, if you pay for your blog’s bandwidth
by the gigabyte or you pay a per reader fee for your newsletter emailing
service, the freebie hunters are wasting both your money and your time.

Jeff — I would buy you book but I have a nook, not a kindle. Is there another format that I can get it in (even PDF if need be). I like your clear and lucid approach to social media and blogging!
