3. Procedure

Step 1: Recall Your Previously Shared Brand Info

Before diving into keyword research, make sure your AI assistant understands your brand. If you haven’t completed this step yet, go back and complete the Brand Setup Workflow first.

💡 ChatGPT Prompt:

I’ve previously shared my brand setup with you. Please recall the following information and apply it to this request:

– Brand Name

– What I Do

– Target Audience

– Content Goals

– Tone of Voice

– Content Pillars

– Common Phrases

– Do Not Dos

– Style Examples (if available)

Step 2: Define Your Content Focus

Start with the basics — define your space and who you’re speaking to.

💡 ChatGPT Prompt:

Generate a list of 10 broad keyword topics that align with my niche and are relevant to my audience’s interests and pain points.

Step 3: Discover High-Intent Keywords

Find keywords your ideal reader is actively searching.

💡 ChatGPT Prompt:

Based on my niche and audience, generate a list of 20 high-intent keywords that potential readers might search for when looking for valuable content in this space.

Include a mix of informational, navigational, and transactional keywords. Please also provide insights on their search volume, keyword difficulty, and competition level.

Suggest which ones have the best balance of high traffic potential and low to medium competition.

Step 4: Find Long-Tail & Question-Based Keywords

Target easier-to-rank terms that reflect real user queries.

💡 ChatGPT Prompt:

For the topic ‘[main keyword],’ generate a list of 15 long-tail keyword variations and frequently asked questions related to it.

These should be based on real search queries and have potential for ranking in search engines.

Step 5: Run a Competitor Keyword Analysis

See what’s working for others in your space.

💡 ChatGPT Prompt:

Analyze the top 3 competitors in my niche for this keyword: [keyword].

Identify their content gaps, and opportunities for my blog to rank higher for the same keywords.

Step 6: Analyze Search Intent

Turn your keywords into clickable blog ideas.

💡 ChatGPT Prompt:

Using the following keyword: [keyword], analyze the search intent behind it. Determine whether it is informational, navigational, commercial, or transactional.

Then, suggest the best type of content to create (e.g., blog post, listicle, how-to guide, product review, etc.) to satisfy that intent

Step 7: Generate Semantic & Related Keywords

Improve on-page SEO with supporting terms.

💡 ChatGPT Prompt:

For the keyword ‘[main keyword],’ generate a list of 10 semantically related keywords and LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) terms that can be naturally integrated into my blog post to improve SEO.
