My Telegram channel for my university course has become the main place where everyone gets their resources. I’ve uploaded so many PDF readings, video lectures, and audio recordings, but now it’s just a huge, long mess. When new members join, they have to scroll for ages to find the file they need from the start of the semester.
I’ve seen people use hashtags, but is that really the best way? It still feels a bit clumsy. I wish I could just create folders for “Week 1”, “Week 2”, “Video Lectures”, etc.
What’s the best practice for this? How do you all organize a channel that has hundreds of large files in it so people can actually find what they’re looking for?

Short Answer: The best way to manage files is to create a ‘virtual’ file system by using a strict, text-based hashtagging convention for every file and then pinning a master text post that acts as an index.

You are correct that a few random hashtags are clumsy; the solution is to be systematic. Firstly, you must implement a rigid text-based labeling system for every single document file, video file, or audio file you post.
