I just uploaded a video and realised I made a small factual error in one of the segments. It’s not a big enough mistake to justify deleting and re-uploading the whole video, but I definitely want to correct it for my viewers.

I’ve heard there’s a “Corrections” feature on YouTube that can help with this.

What exactly is this feature and how do I use it properly in 2025? Does it add a note directly into the video player? What’s the best way to write a correction so that it’s clear to viewers without disrupting the experience too much?
