    Great post Jeff. We must admit that we were about to dismiss Facebook as a tool for B2B marketing. Your post gave us some ideas that we may want to try before getting disheartened.

      Agree! Many times, senior management pushes back on social, especially for B2B. The article does generate some thought starters and ammo to encourage integrating a social strategy into the mix.

    The main problem as I see it – if your fans are business customers, it is hard to grow your fan page via the viral aspects of Facebook because THEIR friends probably aren’t in business. Posting viral images etc then becomes a low-yield technique for growing a B2B fan page.

    Come ‘on… update this blog post! Several tactics are no longer feasible since the introduction of Timeline, no default landing tab, and limited visible tabs. If you want to push an article again via Social Media, at least take the time and effort to keep you articles (info, tactics AND screenshots etc) up to date.
