Infographics bore me to tears – look at Pinterest, it’s now stuffed with them to the point your eye cannot differentiate. They were great once but I think their time is limited andstats show they are having less of an impact and are being lost. You watch, we’ll see the return of handwritten notes shortly and that’ll be the next must have lol

You are spot on. Infographics are not trending up but they still work. That is why content needs to be created in a range of media to reach the widest audience preferences for content consumption

Hey Jeff, thanks for posting this. In today’s world, it seems like no one has time to read a post, but pictures and videos can be a quick and easy alternative. These are some great tips for creating an effective, informative and presentable infographic if you choose to add them into your own strategy.

Where do you think the future of infographics lies? Will they be overshadowed by video?

    Hi jeff,

FYI I cannot pin this infographic using the Pinterest share plugin (on the left) this is the error:

Parameter ‘image_url’ (value ) is not a valid URL format.

I was able to pin it using the browser plugin Pinterest pin it button to http://pinterest.com/pintalk/infographics-and-social-media/

    Hey Jeff,
    Another great read.
Thinking of using infographs to detail marketing campaigns.
    Ideas, execution and results.
Great way to boost personal and corporate credentials.

1 question: Is a paid service the only option or are there free good quality alternatives??

You are right – I was being provocative lol! However, seeing so many jostling with one another on Pinterest is rather off putting but I agree, of course there are some beauties!
