First time I have seen your blog (via Brian Thompson @thorneybleeder.com). Very informative. I will definitely be back around often. Thank you so much!

I read your blog once before. Then you got lost in my emails of too many marketers. But when I saw your name among the many today, you stood out–as somewhere in my brain was the memory of the value you’d given when I’d read your blog before. And I clicked on your link, and boy am I glad I did. Thank you so much. This blog connected so many dots I’m off and running to fulfill my desires. I’d like to mention Create Space – publish your book with them and you’re automatically on Amazon. You can create your book cover using their templates. Love them. Also Fiverr.com You can purchase technical help, graphic designers and more services for $5 some a little more. But many of these vendors are world class. I love this site. My favorite is an artist from England, ‘webmark.’ He does marketing and he does all my ebook covers ($5) and create space book covers $15). He’s skilled and intuitive. I love that site so much.

If you want to make a living off it then start from day one. It also depends on the strategy.

Great list, Jeff! The “Made to stick” book has been in the office library for months, but I didn’t like the cover. Now I’m definitely reading it!

BTW, have you ever looked at our BuzzBundle tool for your social media jobs? We’re supporting Twitter, Fb, Google+, LinkedIn and now also YouTube, as well as multiple blogs and forums. You can check it at http://www.link-assistant.com/buzzbundle/ and please let me know what you think, would you put it on your list? =)

Jeff, great post! I’m definitely bookmarking it – especially the books you link to. Always love to get my hands on some social-related reading!

Would love a chance to show you another social media tool – it doesn’t fit into the Twitter or Facebook categories specifically, but covers both platforms as well as a ton of others: uberVU! I’m uberVU’s social media manager and I use the product every day (of course I’m a little bit biased). Hope we can connect and chat about the platform sometime – it’s a tool I think could prove really interesting for your readers. Reach out to me at elisabeth at ubervu dot com – I’d love to chat sometime!

    • http://jeffbullas.com Jeff Bullas

Thanks for that heads up. Curious…What does UberVu do?

Wow – this is quite the comprehensive list! I actually have a phone meeting scheduled with HubSpot this afternoon.

Glad to hear you liked the list!

Great stuff, as always, Jeff. Two questions: how do you rate JustUnfollow against Tweepi? What about Triberr? Any thoughts on that? Thanks!

    • http://jeffbullas.com Jeff Bullas

I haven’t used JustUnfollow so I cant say either way. Triberr is quite good and I have used it. It is worth trying out.

Great list of resources for a complete content marketing strategy, thanks Jeff! Its probably overwhelming to someone just starting out but a great list to bookmark and work through over several weeks/months.
Another great tool I use for managing Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn is Buffer. Not as robust as Hootsuite in terms of managing or analyzing but for easily posting and spacing out content it works great.

    • NewYorkean

      I’ll check out buffer. Thanks!

Wow! I’m speechless. Jeff Bullas has just given me a do it yourself ‘realize your dreams’ in this one blog. Cannot wait, actually as soon as I’m finished writing this comment I’m downloading his book, “Blogging The Smart Way” I’m convinced he knows how.

Jeff- kind of funny! 4 Hour Workweek got me interested in internet marketing. At the time, I was completely involved in real estate investing. This was my first experience with online marketing.

Hi Jeff, thanks for this awesome list of social media resources including books as well. This is everything that a marketer needs. I have used some tools that are mentioned in your list and I’ll be trying the ones that I haven’t used yet.
