I am also very impressed with the new American Air. They have stepped up not only blogging but they respond via Twitter within minutes and also reply to page posts on Google Plus.

Great post Matt. Besides having a good blog, I think companies need to do a better job respecting when someone doesn’t want to be on their email list anymore. I’ve unsubscribed to a few company blogs, yet the emails keep coming!

Hi Jeff, have you had a chance to look at medtechviews.eu ? We are an industry association representing the medical technology industry in Europe. I don’t know if you have ever come across an industry association engaging in dialogue with its stakeholders via its blog platform. But thats what we are doing. Our engagement strategy allows young innovators, tech enthusiasts, academia, social enterprises, and medtech experts to freely speak their mind with a concrete message to the industry. The strategy is bold. Throughout the year, intelligence is flowing back and forth – from the industry, to the industry. We have published it all – the good, the bad, and the ugly. The blog has even shaken board-level conversations. But that’s what you need. A communications channel that will bring change, humanise business.
So please have a look. If you would like to know more, happy to discuss further.
