A great article and very timely as I am this morning reading through the 2nd final edit of my book and finishing cover art. What I’m struggling with is the best formula for promotion of a new e book. I am on information overload at the moment and while I see some great advice in this post. I’d love to hear from anyone (or the author) who knows of a service that will almost hold my hand for this process.

Great tips. As an author who has self-published two books and now has gone with a publisher I can tell you that selling books is hard work. There are 14 million books on Amazon and a lot talking about the very same things as you. You need to figure out a way to stand out and really connect with your target audience.

I Agree with your comment. I am a blogger and want to be an author and self publisher. I also think that these tips are great , they will start you off but just as important or even more important is connecting with your target audience and standing out in the crowd!

Thanks for the post, it is definitely relevant for me, and I can see that it is a logical next step in offering your writing to a wider audience.

I’ve been following your blog posts for a few months now and have been enjoying them, and finding them very useful.

I’ve also mentioned your website in several upcoming guest posts I have coming out, and also in the following post too

Don’t forget to have your ebook converted to Kindle format and publish it on Amazon. This way you extend your reach by millions of potential readers.

    Hey Jeff,

Nicely done! I have written an ebook and I can definitely vouch for writing in parts. It made it easier for me to write and gave me a lot of time to brainstorm even further on the next topic as well as to how I was going to link each part together.

I’m thinking about writing another ebook and this post will be a great reference for me. There are a couple of nuggets that you mention that i like to implement! Thanks for sharing Jeff!
