Video is a powerful and effective way of presenting content. Not everyone has the innate ability to write blog posts or enjoys putting pen to paper. Finding your “online” voice could mean video blogging, or communicating through images and PowerPoint  presentations on social media networ, Video blogging is a powerful and effective way of presenting content.

My advice for audio is redundancy.  We use wireless lapel mics, and then a
separate shotgun microphone on one of the cameras.  That way, even if something interferes with
the wireless mics (which you find out during editing), you can still salvage
the interview using the shotgun mic.  We,
of course, learned this the hard way.

The example video is terrible.  Despite some standard and somewhat sound production techniques, the image is terrible. 95% of the ‘How to’ videos online have one thing in common…. horrible visuals.
